The Ritter Vega Model F Dental Chairs The switching consisted of momentary selector lever (Joy stick) mounted in a control box that was located on the sides of the back. This was a hydraulic chair. It consisted of an electric motor driven pump Type 1 had two hydraulic cylinders one for lifting the base and the other for back movement. Type 3 had only a base cylinder. The switches would switch line voltage both to the pump motor and the electric solenoids for the various operations of the chair. |

The Ritter Vega Model FX Dental Chairs The early switching consisted of momentary black push button switches located on the sides of the chair back. They were use in chairs with serial No's. 92FX (1 or 2) 1000 through 92FX (1 or 2) 3925. After that momentary rocker switches were used. This was a hydraulic chair. It consisted of an electric motor driven pump Type 1 had two hydraulic cylinders one for lifting the base and the other for back movement. Type 1-M was basically the same only it had a gliding feature that aloud the chair to move back when used upright or forward when reclined. |
