Pisgah Area SORBA's new mountain bike schedule for February 2007
Starting this month, we're now just doing Sunday group rides in Bent Creek...same time, same place each week. We're teaming up with Blue Ridge Bicycle Club on our weekly mountain bike rides. Having such a consistent and static ride schedule should improve attendance and will be something you can count on happening each week.

We are creating a new mountain bike trail system in
Richmond Hill
WOW! A mountain bike trail system close to home! We are creating a new system of mountain bike trails in the newly revised Richmond Hill area. This is a great opportunity to have great trails right within city limits. Imagine the possibilities. Since this is in the planning stages....we need your help! Join Mike Brown and fellow PAS members in planning and blazing new trail in Richmond Hill. The next few weeks are critical in laying out the new trail system. Note the following dates and come out to help! You don't have to be a mountain biker or trailbuilder to participate. Please dress appropriately for hiking and working in the woods.
Sunday, January 14 -- 10am start
Sunday, January 21 -- 10 am start
More dates to follow throughout 2007!
Please contact Mike Brown, for directions and more info.

We would like to encourage everyone who loves the trails in and around Pisgah, and in the mountains of Western North Carolina to join the Pisgah Area SORBA. You don't have to live here, and you don't even have to ride a bike. If you use these trails then we have a common goal of wanting to keep them open, and keep them well maintained. We are based in Asheville NC and will be meeting on a regular basis on the second Wednesday of each month.
Please book mark this site, and keep checking it out. We will be announcing news, trail work days, rides, races, and lots of other things of interest.
